Starting on Monday 1st August, the Caer Alyn Archaeolgical and Heritage Project is running its Summer Dig for 2011. This year we are investigating 2 cross ditches that cut off the promentry iron age hill fort that have shown up on a geophysical survey.

2008 Trench re-opened to locate ditch
Viewing a video posted on YouTube, we were able to identify the location of the 2008 trench and re-open it. Alan is shown on the video highlighting the ditch we are searching for.
