Starting on Monday 1st August, the Caer Alyn Archaeolgical and Heritage Project is running its Summer Dig for 2011. This year we are investigating 2 cross ditches that cut off the promentry iron age hill fort that have shown up on a geophysical survey.

Lodge Field features II
Last look at the liner feature running through Trench 1 shows that originally it was over 20cm deep and running for approximately 200m long
